I'm definitely in the '70-'71 camp. The acoustic sets, the New Riders, Pigpen still singing the blues(2/8/70 Smokestack), the Dead just destroyed it these years.
And for the Jerry solo stuff I'm all over LOM and the JGB'75. All the horns, funk and jazz one needs in a balanced musical diet. Nicky Hopkins tears it up on Pig's Boogie and Edward.

But really, if I could only have the GD and JGB '67 through '75 I would be happy.
